The Handmade Collective

Makers at work: hands shaping clay on a wheel, colorful beads, woven textiles and dried flowers in a warm artisan studio

I built something new, and I want you to know about it.

It's called The Handmade Collective — a directory of independent makers, built so real crafters are seen by name.

You know how it is: so many factory-made pieces out there call themselves "handmade," and the real makers get buried underneath. I wanted a place where you can find the person behind the piece — their name, their story, their own shop.

On The Handmade Collective, you'll discover makers of jewelry, pottery, art, home décor, accessories, and more — and you buy straight from the maker, through their own shop or social media. (You'll find JVDesigner there too!)

If you love handmade like I do, come take a look: Visit The Handmade Collective

And if you are a maker yourself, you can apply for your own page there. Real hands. Real makers. That's what it's all about.

Handmade is not a marketing word. It's a promise.

Featured maker: JVDesigner

Three pairs of JVDesigner handmade earrings on display stands: lilac hoops, purple-white teardrops, and dark teardrops

JVDesigner is the first maker featured in the directory — handmade jewelry designed and hand-assembled by Josée. Visit the JVDesigner shop

How it works
